Welcome to Melton Homes - Your complete Housing Options Service
Leicestershire Choice Based Lettings is a partnership between Melton Borough Council and six other councils in Leicestershire (excluding Leicester City which has its own web site) and a large number of housing association partners. By coming together to form Leicestershire Choice Based Lettings, we are able to offer those looking for an affordable home, the widest choice of housing and an easier way of being considered for vacant properties as they arise.
This site displays all of the rented and shared ownership properties that the Council and Housing Associations currently have available.
We aim to give you more choice in deciding where you want to live in the Borough. All properties that are available for rent will be advertised every 2 weeks on our website www.melton-homes.org.uk and in our newsletter, which will be available to view at any of the Children's Centres and at Melton Library for applicants who do not have access to the internet.
You can choose which properties you are interested in and show your interest by bidding for a property. You may only bid for a property if your application has been accepted onto our housing register. Don't worrry about the word 'bid' this does not involve money it just means you are telling us that you are interested in a particular property and want to be considered for it.
You can place a 'bid' on this website, or by telephone or by text.
To place a bid by telephone you will need to have your registration number, your memorable date password and the property reference number that you want to bid for. The number to call when placing a bid is 0300 011 0129.
